Sanctions in the Welfare Reform Bill

Children's welfare first

One of the main concerns we have on the Welfare Reform Bill is the effect of sanctions on people already living on below minimum income benefits. We fear that sanctions, instead of encouraging people to work, will instead leave them in despair, depression, and deeper into debt and poverty.
