How your organisation can help

A partnership with Z2K is a great way to motivate employees and assist the most vulnerable in our society.

Ways you can support us include:

Pro Bono Support

Pro bono work from experienced professionals in areas such as public relations, communications and marketing, human resources, legal services and accountancy can help us grow and develop Z2K. Your time and expertise could free up resources so that a greater proportion of funds can be used to support our clients.

We also have a well established tribunals project, which gives us the capacity to represent around 400 people a year at tribunal. We are delighted to partner with seven corporate law firms on this project, and we continue to seek opportunities to partner with others. Click here to find out more.

Benevity

Z2K now have a profile on Benevity under our registered name The Zacchaeus 2000 Trust. If you work for a corporate and you have a Benevity account, why not select Z2K as your charity of choice to donate to? You can donate to our Disability Benefits Tribunals Representation project or our Support Homeless into the Private Rented Sector project. Contact our Fundraising Manager to discuss further.

Charity of the Year

Choose Zacchaeus 2000 Trust as your Charity of the Year and we will support you on engaging your workforce in the charity’s values, and provide ideas, inspiration and support from our Fundraising Manager. Choosing a small charity like Z2K means the total you raise, no matter how much, will make a big impact to a charity of our size.

Run a fundraising event

Your employees could run their own fundraiser to help raise vital funds for our work. Or, perhaps your staff would complete a challenge event on behalf of Z2K. Contact our Fundraising Manager to discuss further.

Payroll Giving

This is a tax effective way to make a regular monthly donation to our charity. Monthly donations provide us with a sustainable income so that we can commit to helping more individuals. Your continued support will ensure that no one suffers alone. Donating through your salary enables you to commit to us straight from your gross salary (before tax is deducted):

  • Lower rate taxpayer – if you pay tax at the lower rate, for every £1 that you earn 20p is paid in tax. If you pledge £10 a month to Z2K through payroll giving, we receive the full amount but only £8 will be deducted from your net pay
  • Higher rate taxpayer – if you pay income tax at the higher rate of 40%, only £6 would be deduced from every £10 pledged
  • Additional rate taxpayer – if you pay income tax at the additional rate of 45%, only £4.50 would be deducted for every £10 pledged

If your organisation is not registered for the scheme, they can sign up with a payroll giving agency who can process employee donations. You can find a list of approved agencies here.
