Join the London #LegalWalk

The London #LegalWalk will be taking place again this year on Monday 17th June 2019.

The London Legal Support Trust has launched The London #LegalWalk again for 2019. In 2018, 13,000 people walked 10k for justice, raising a record breaking £830,000! All funds raised support free legal advice charities in London and the South East.

We are walking to raise funds for The Zacchaeus 2000 Trust (Z2K) and all funds raised through our fundraising page by The London Legal Support Trust will be donated to Z2K with no deduction.

All Z2K staff and trustees will be walking this year, but we are always looking for supporters who would like to join us. If this is something you are interested in, please email samanthaevans@z2k.org to find out more information.

To donate, simply visit: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Z2KWalkers19  If you would rather raise funds in person, as opposed to online, please utilise the sponsorship form found here. This ensures we can claim Gift Aid on these donations – an extra 25%!

Further information about the day:

Start:  Registration will open from 4pm – 7pm on Carey Street on Monday 17th June. We recommend arriving nice and early to beat the crowd. The team organiser should come to check in the team and then pick up the maps and drinks vouchers.

Finish: The walk concludes with a street party on Carey Street with street food vendors, fire jugglers and musicians. Walkers will be given a drinks token upon registration which they can redeem in the Law Society or Knights Templar bars on beer, wine or a soft drink.

The Route: We will have two routes again this year. – the Parks Route and the River Route. You do not need to let us know which route you are taking in advance – we will have maps printed for you to pick up on the day.

What is it all for? We believe in access to justice. Thanks to your participation in events such as the London Legal Walk we are able to support over 100 organisations in London and the South East each year, helping them provide more free and pro bono legal advice.
