Join or donate to the London Legal Walk #10xChallenge
The London #LegalWalk will be taking place again this year on Monday 5th October 2020. Instead of us all walking 10k for justice, we will instead be taking on the London Legal Walk #10xChallenge, by completing a challenge on the 5th October.
In light of the current pandemic, The London Legal Support Trust has launched The London #LegalWalk again for 2020, but in a different form in order to follow government guidance. Instead of us all walking 10k for justice, we will instead be taking on the London Legal Walk #10xChallenge, by taking on our own unique challenge such as walking, running, cycling, hopping, skipping or roller skating 10km local to where we are on the 5th October.
All staff & trustees at Z2K will be taking part to raise vital funds for our charity and all funds raised through our fundraising page will be donated to Z2K (via the London Legal Support Trust) with no deduction. All funds raised will help us continue our vital services during this time. We work with people across London to solve their housing and benefit issues and use the evidence from this to influence policy and system change nationally. We believe a secure income and stable housing are key to preventing homelessness for individuals and their families.
We are also looking for supporters who would like to join in. If this is something you are interested in, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Whether you opt to swim, skip, star jump or skateboard your way to 10, 100, 1,000 or even 10,000, this is your chance to get creative and showcase your talents or learn a new skill. Take part in your own time and at your own pace, and remember, if the 5th October doesn’t suit your schedule you are welcome to choose another date that suits you or your team.

#WhyWeWalk – We believe in access to justice and all funds raised through Z2K’s fundraising page will go to Z2K. Law firms, chambers and other organisations across London are also taking part, and the funds raised through their fundraising pages will go to the London Legal Support Trust. The Trust will then award grants and support free legal advice charities in London and South East, which are more crucial than ever during this difficult time.
