New vacancy: Tenant Engagement Officer

Based in Westminster, the Zacchaeus 2000 Trust (Z2K) was set up to combat poverty and homelessness across London through specialist advice and casework, policy and campaigning, practical support and services to local communities.

Through our NextDoor project, we support single homeless people to secure accommodation within the private rented sector. This involves providing pre-tenancy support, brokering relationships between clients and landlords, helping with housing benefit and rent payments and providing longer term sustained support.

We are now recruiting for a Tenancy Engagement Officer to develop our post-tenancy support services.

Working closely with the Housing Liaison Officer and the wider casework team, you will be responsible primarily for designing, implementing and delivering our post tenancy services. In addition you will take the lead on dealing with post tenancy matters that may arise, usually in relation to paying rent, or repairs. You will also work with the Housing Liaison Officer to carry out assessments on clients who want to be supported through the Private Rented Sector Access Scheme.
